Add Tacet to your browser.
Tacet installs from the Chrome Web Store, in Google Chrome and in Brave.
Same store, same package
Brave installs extensions from the Chrome Web Store. Open the listing in Brave and click Add to Brave. Brave may ask you to confirm once that you want to install from the Chrome Web Store.
Brave Shields and Tacet work side by side: Shields blocks network-level trackers, Tacet tidies what still renders on the page.
Tacet also runs on the mobile site in Android browsers that install from the Chrome Web Store, such as Kiwi and Microsoft Edge.
First run
1. Open Facebook
Reload any Facebook tab that was already open; Tacet starts on the next load.
2. Pick a Quiet Mode
Balanced is a sensible default. Switch modes any time from the popup.
3. Fine-tune
Open the full settings page from the popup for text rules, allow lists, layout and appearance.
